Bull Statue Construction

Finished Plaza

During the fall of 2008 and spring of 2009, the old Marshall Center will be demolished and a new plaza will be constructed. The new plaza will feature a grass amphitheater for showing Movies on the Lawn, a built in stage and performance area, a fountain with three life size bull statues and various shaded seating areas.

Construction of the new plaza will take place on the site of the old Marshall Center. The current Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza will not be affected by the new construction. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late March of 2009.

Student Government voted in favor of enhancing the planned courtyard for the new Marshall Student Center. The enhanced plaza will be a great addition to the new student center and a perfect place for the campus to gather outdoors.

You can help pave the way to the new Marshall Student Center by donating a paver brick engraved with your own custom message. Paver information >
